UP resident arrested in Goa for possessing fake Aadhaar card at Sattari scrapyard

Panaji, Nov 20: The Valpoi Police have arrested Mohammad Irshad, a native of Uttar Pradesh, after he was allegedly found carrying a forged Aadhaar card at a scrapyard owned by Istiyakahmad Akbar Ali Shah in Nanus, Sattari.

According to police, Irshad had arrived in Goa around 20 days ago, reportedly to sell spare parts. During a routine verification at the scrapyard, authorities discovered the fake Aadhaar card in his possession.

An FIR has been registered under the relevant legal provisions, and investigators are now probing whether Irshad may be involved in additional illegal activities. Further inquiries are ongoing.
