Mumbai, Nov 18: The much-anticipated trailer of Dhurandhar dropped on Tuesday, offering a fierce first look at one of 2025’s biggest Bollywood action thrillers. Featuring an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and R. Madhavan, the film sets the stage for an explosive spy saga.
Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna step into the shoes of the primary antagonists — ruthless Pakistan-based terrorists — while Ranveer Singh plays the undercover operative who infiltrates their network. R. Madhavan’s character, serving as the mastermind guiding Ranveer, appears to draw inspiration from India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval.

The trailer begins on a dark, unsettling note, with Arjun Rampal’s character torturing a captive as he reflects on Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq’s infamous “bleeding India by a thousand cuts” doctrine. Rampal and Khanna dominate the trailer with chilling performances, embodying terror with unnerving precision.
Packed with intense gunfights, massive explosions, and large-scale destruction, the trailer promises a gripping, high-octane narrative. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar positions itself as a grand espionage thriller rooted in covert operations and shadow warfare.
The teaser released earlier had already hinted at a gritty world of undercover agents and clandestine missions. With filming recently completed in Amritsar, the movie has now moved into post-production, gearing up for a massive promotional run. Its energetic title track — a fusion of Punjabi beats and hip-hop featuring rapper Hanumankind — has further amplified fan excitement, showcasing Ranveer in full-blown action mode.
The trailer has been granted a UA-16+ certification by the CBFC, indicating mature, potentially heavy action content. Buzz around the industry suggests that the film’s scale and narrative depth could even lead to a two-part franchise.
With adrenaline-loaded visuals, a gripping premise, and powerhouse performances, Dhurandhar is shaping up to be one of Ranveer Singh’s most ambitious and intense cinematic outings yet.
