Felix D’Souza meets CM in Delhi; seeks state honour for World Cup winner Jemimah Rodrigues

Bengaluru/New Delhi, Nov 17: Karnataka power minister K J George and Mumbai-based union leader Felix D’Souza, Taccode, met chief minister Siddaramaiah at Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi.

During the meeting, D’Souza requested the chief minister to extend state recognition and felicitation to cricketer, World Cup winner Jemimah Rodrigues, winner of the 2025 World Cup, for her outstanding achievement and contribution to Karnataka.

D’Souza also submitted a request to rename Mangaluru Railway Station in honour of George Fernandes. Chief minister Siddaramaiah assured him that the Karnataka government will formally forward the proposal to the central government for consideration.
