Mumbai, Nov 17: The makers of Mahima Chaudhry and Sanjay Mishra’s upcoming romantic entertainer Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi have announced that the film will hit cinemas on December 19. The reveal came with a poster showing Sanjay Mishra, dressed as the groom, gazing affectionately at Mahima Chaudhry in bridal attire while holding a garland.

Sharing the update on social media, the team wrote, “The wedding bells are ringing! Get ready to celebrate love, family, and second chances. #DurlabhPrasadKiDusriShadi is coming to the big screen on 19th DECEMBER.” Both leads appear smiling and blushing in the announcement.

Directed by Siddhant Raj Singh, the film follows the story of a young man determined to find a new bride for his widowed father after his prospective in-laws insist that a woman must be present in the household before they agree to the marriage. The cast also includes Vyom Yadav, Palak Lalwani, Pravin Singh Sisodia and Shrikant Verma.

Sanjay Mishra said the role is dear to him, calling Durlabh Prasad “a character you’ll love for his simplicity and innocence,” and adding that the film blends comedy and emotion in equal measure. Earlier, he had shared the first-look poster online, featuring Mahima as a glowing bride and himself as an unconventional groom holding a framed photo of the bride instead of standing beside her.
