Mangaluru, Nov 15: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru celebrated Children’s Day 2025 with great joy and enthusiasm on November 14 in the school auditorium, creating a vibrant and memorable experience for the students of grade V to XII. The campus came alive with cheerful faces as children walked in, excited to enjoy a day dedicated entirely to them.
The programme began with a serene prayer song that invoked god’s blessings upon the students. This was followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the teachers, which delighted the children and set a lively tone for the celebration.






























To officially inaugurate the festivities, the symbolic presence of Chacha Nehru took centre stage accompanied by principal Sr Melissa, vice principal Sr Teena, head boy Kevin Kushalappa and head girl Karen. The dignitaries together unveiled a special surprise for the students, marking the formal opening of the day’s events.
A series of fun-filled activities kept the children thoroughly entertained - spot games, energetic dance performances in Hindi and Malayalam, and a vibrant fashion show that had the audience cheering for their teachers. The heartfelt wishing song sung by the staff added a warm and emotional touch, expressing the love and blessings they wished upon their students.
In her message, principal Sr Melissa lovingly referred to the children as “the blossoms of the day,” expressing her joy in witnessing their laughter, participation, and wholehearted enjoyment of their special celebration.
The vote of thanks was delivered by head boy Kevin Kushalappa, who gratefully acknowledged the efforts of the management and staff in making the day truly memorable. The programme was skilfully compered by teacher Sunita, whose cheerful narration and warm interaction kept the audience engaged throughout.
After the formal programme, the students danced to their hearts’ content to the lively beats played by DJ Suman. The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, with students leaving the venue with bright smiles and happy hearts.
The laughter, energy, and pure joy that filled the air reflected the true spirit of Children’s Day, a beautiful tribute to the young minds who bring life and vibrance to Mount Carmel Campus.
