PM Modi visits blast victims at LNJP Hospital, assures justice

New Delhi, Nov 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited those injured in the Red Fort blast at LNJP Hospital in Delhi soon after returning from Bhutan. Heavy security was deployed around the hospital during his visit.

PM Modi met the injured and their families, wished them a speedy recovery, and was briefed by doctors and officials on their condition. Sharing pictures from his visit on X, he wrote, “Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!”

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited the hospital and reviewed the treatment arrangements for the victims.

The powerful explosion, which occurred near the Lal Qila Metro Station gate on Monday evening, claimed 13 lives and left several others injured.

During his visit to Bhutan on Tuesday, PM Modi said the Delhi blast had deeply pained the nation, adding, “India stands with those who have suffered. The agencies will get to the bottom of the conspiracy and bring all those involved to justice.”
