Mumbai, Nov 7: The much-awaited trailer of The Family Man Season 3 has finally been released, bringing back everyone’s favourite intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari, portrayed by the versatile Manoj Bajpayee. Promising a perfect mix of suspense, humour, and emotional depth, the latest season from Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (Raj & DK) is all set to take fans on yet another adrenaline-pumping journey through the world of espionage.
At the trailer launch event held in Mumbai on Friday, excitement ran high as the creators faced questions about a potential crossover — especially after fans witnessed intriguing links between The Family Man and Farzi, where Chellam Sir’s cameo and a phone call between Srikant and Vijay Sethupathi’s Michael hinted at a shared universe.
When asked if Season 3 would feature another crossover, Raj smiled and teased, “The problem is DK is blushing too much, and it’s giving away.” The Amazon Prime Video team, present at the event, quickly gestured to the duo not to reveal more, further fuelling fan speculation that a surprise crossover is indeed in the works.
Crossovers have become a rising trend in Indian entertainment, and Raj & DK seem to be expanding their spy-verse, connecting The Family Man, Farzi, and Citadel: Honey Bunny into one thrilling web of stories. Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee charmed the audience with his wit and warmth as he shared a heartwarming story about his daughter’s reaction to the series. “She’s proud of my work, but she’s a much bigger fan of Sharib Hashmi (JK),” he laughed. “One day, she saw him outside our house and started shouting, ‘Papa, JK is here! JK is here!’”
Season 3 will also feature Jaideep Ahlawat in a significant role and Nimrat Kaur as the antagonist, adding to the intrigue and intensity of the plot.
