Hyderabad, Nov 7: Acclaimed filmmaker S S Rajamouli, known for his larger-than-life storytelling, has once again captured the imagination of cinema lovers by revealing the first look of Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha, the powerful antagonist in his upcoming film Globe Trotter.

Rajamouli shared the striking image on social media on Friday, expressing his admiration for Prithviraj’s performance. “After canning the first shot with Prithvi, I walked up to him and said, you are one of the finest actors I’ve ever known,” Rajamouli wrote. He further added, “Bringing life to this sinister, ruthless, powerful antagonist KUMBHA was creatively very satisfying,” before adding a light-hearted note — “Thank you @therealprithvi for slipping into his chair… literally… #GlobeTrotter.”

The first look of Kumbha has created a storm among fans and film enthusiasts alike. Prithviraj’s intense expression, coupled with the dark and mysterious tone of the poster, has set social media abuzz. Admirers have been drawing comparisons to iconic villains, with some likening his look to Spiderman’s Dr Octavius and others recalling Vivek Oberoi’s menacing role in Krrish 3.

With this reveal, expectations from Globe Trotter have soared high. Rajamouli, who has previously delivered global blockbusters like Baahubali and RRR, is once again set to present a cinematic spectacle — and Prithviraj’s portrayal of Kumbha promises to be one of the film’s biggest highlights.
