Bengaluru, Nov 5: The Karnataka Department of Education has released the final timetable for the 2026 SSLC (Class 10) and II PUC (Class 12) Exams 1 and 2, confirming that the board examinations will be conducted between February and May 2026.

Officials said the two-exam system, introduced to provide students a chance to improve their performance, will continue this academic year as well. “The timetable has been finalised early to help schools and students plan their preparations systematically,” an education department spokesperson said.

SSLC (Class 10) Examination Schedule:

Exam 1: March 18 – April 2, 2026
Exam 2: May 18 –  May 25, 2026

SSLC Exam 1 Timetable:

• Mar 18: First Language

• Mar 23: Science

• Mar 25: Second Language

• Mar 28: Mathematics

• Mar 30: Third Language

• Apr 2: Social Science

SSLC Exam 2 Timetable:

• May 18: First Language

• May 19: Science

• May 20: Second Language

• May 21: Mathematics

• May 22: Third Language

• May 23: Social Science

II PUC (Class 12) Examination Schedule:

Exam 1: February 28 – March 17, 2026
Exam 2: April 24 – May 9, 2026

Education department officials confirmed that this is the finalised timetable, and no changes will be made. They added that the two-phase examination structure aims to ease student stress and ensure fairer evaluation opportunities.

All schools and pre-university colleges across Karnataka have been instructed to align their academic and preparatory schedules in accordance with the announced examination dates.
