Udupi, Nov 4: The Coastal Tech Cricket League 2025, a first-of-its-kind tournament bringing together IT professionals from Udupi and Mangaluru, concluded successfully after two days of exciting matches at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Hejamadi.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Deepak Rai Panaje, popular actor from the blockbuster movies ‘Kantara’ and ‘Su from So’, who officially declared the tournament open.

















Distinguished guests present at the inaugural event included, Divakar Sanil of Smaranika Group of Concerns Udupi, dean, SMVITM Bantakal professor Dr Nagaraj Bhat, Roshan Kotian of SMVITM Bantakal, chief growth officer Niveus Solutions Shashir Shetty, director, Niveus Solutions Adarsh Prabhu, Over two days, thrilling matches were held among teams representing IT professionals and corporate groups from across the region.
The closing ceremony was attended by director Niveus Solutions Ajay Prabhu, vice president BJP Mangalore City South Gautham Salian Kodical, and team owners of Apoorva Yuvaka Mandala Puttur and United Surathkal.
Apoorva Yuvaka Mandala Puttur emerged as the champions of CTCL 2025, bagging the winners’ trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 60,000, while United Surathkal were declared runners-up, receiving a cash prize of Rs 40,000 and trophy.
Individual awards were presented to Parikshith Shetty of team Apoorva Yuvaka Mandala Puttur ‘man of the series’, Jai Prakash from team United Surathkal ‘best batsman’, Manith Acharya of team Apoorva Yuvaka Mandala Puttur ‘best bowler’ and Prajwal rai of team Apoorva yuvaka Mandala Puttur ‘final man of the match’.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, strong sportsmanship, and vibrant community spirit among IT professionals from both Udupi and Mangalore.
Coastal Tech Cricket League 2025 was organised by IT employees of Niveus Solutions and other companies from the coastal region, with Yutori Designs as the title sponsor. The league aimed to promote fitness, teamwork, and collaboration among the tech community while celebrating the passion for cricket.
