Karkala: MPM GFGC organises workshop on ‘Filing of Income Tax Return Form’

Karkala, Nov 3: Commerce and Management Association in collaboration with IQAC and Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of MPM GFGC Karkala organised six (6) sessions on 'Filing of ITR Form’ for II MCom, III-year and II-year BCom and BBA Students of our college (8 batches), covering around 750 students over a period of 6 days. The resource person was Louis Manoj Ambrose, associate professor of commerce, MPM GFGC Karkala.

In his presentation, Louis mentioned about types of ITR, AIS/TIS, Types of ITR forms, Form 10E in case of Relief u/s 89 and steps in filing of ITR. He also took up points on filing of ITR 1, ITR 2, ITR 3 and ITR 4. The objective of the session was to encourage youngsters to take up entrepreneurship and become an independent practitioner in filing of Income Tax and GST returns for the society.

In his presidential remarks, Prof Suresh Rai K, principal spoke about the relevance of practicing thisskills and how it can fuel and enhance the effectiveness of any individual.

The programme was attended by around 750 students of II MCom, III BCom ‘A’ & ‘B” batches, III BBA, II BCom ‘A’ & ‘B’ batches, II BBA and II BCom AEDP batch.
