Mangaluru: St Mary’s High School, Falnir celebrates Kannada Rajyotsava

Mangaluru, Nov 3: St Mary’s High School, Falnir celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with pride and cultural spirit in the school. The programme began with a prayer, vibrant cultural performances, including a special dance depicting the spirit of Karnataka, followed by an energetic dance performance by the students.

The significance of the day was highlighted by the chief guest Deekshitha who spoke about the importance of loving Kannada language and culture.

In her presidential address, the Headmistress, Sr Sylvia Hilda Suares spoke about the importance of Kannada Rajyotsava and motivated the students to respect and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka.

The programme was organised and hosted by the students of class 9A under the guidance of their class teacher, Prameela.

The celebration concluded with cheers and appreciation for the students’ creativity, dedication, and cultural spirit.
