New Delhi, Nov 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the maiden Emerging Science and Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 on November 3, marking a landmark initiative to strengthen India’s research and development ecosystem. During the event, the Prime Minister will also launch a mega Rs 1 lakh crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund aimed at promoting private sector-driven R&D across the nation.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), ESTIC 2025 will serve as a flagship annual platform in the field of science and technology. The three-day conclave is expected to bring together over 3,000 participants, including representatives from academia, research institutions, industry, and government, along with Nobel laureates, leading scientists, innovators, and policymakers.

The conclave will feature keynote talks, panel discussions, technology showcases, and presentations designed to foster collaboration between researchers, industries, and young innovators. The goal is to create a dynamic space where new ideas can be translated into tangible innovations that strengthen India’s position as a global leader in science and technology.

Deliberations will revolve around 11 key thematic areas — ranging from advanced materials and manufacturing, artificial intelligence, bio-manufacturing, blue economy, digital communications, and semiconductors, to emerging agriculture technologies, energy, environment and climate, health and medical technologies, quantum science, and space innovations.

With the launch of the RDI Fund, the government aims to catalyse a new era of innovation-led growth and position India as a major hub for next-generation technologies.
