St Agnes College Mangaluru hosts ‘Creativity with the Canvas: A workshop in Figma’

Mangaluru, Oct 15: The postgraduate department of Big Data Analytics at St Agnes College (Autonomous) Mangaluru organised Creativity with the Canvas: A workshop in Figma, on October 10.

The resource person for the workshop was N Pranav, operations managers at Kakunje Software Private Limited, Mangaluru. Pranav was assisted by Greeshma, intern at Kakunje Software Pvt Ltd and the students of 1st year and 2nd year MSc Big Data Analytics actively participated in the workshop.

The one-day workshop helped participants explore Figma’s versatility and design creative prototypes for websites and digital presentations for marketing and social media. The workshop also enabled participants to learn different tool tricks to create interactive user interfaces and to connect Figma with Wix Studio.

The hands-on workshop was conducted as part of the MoU between St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru and Kakunje Software Private Limited, Mangaluru.

The student coordinators of the workshop were Sakshi and Mervin Philip Fernandes from I year MSc Big Data Analytics. The session concluded with the resource person highlighting the opportunities in UI design and the diverse range of career paths for UI/UX designers.
