Car-truck collision in Bikaner claims two lives

Bikaner, Oct 13: Two persons were killed and two others injured after a car collided with a truck and caught fire on Bharat Mala road near Raisar in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, on Monday, police said.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Laxman Sudhar, one car occupant was burnt alive, while the other succumbed to injuries at PBM Hospital, Bikaner. The injured have been admitted for treatment.

Police and fire brigade teams rushed to the scene to douse the flames. Preliminary reports suggest the truck rammed the car from behind.

The bodies have been kept at the PBM Hospital mortuary, and further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
