Mangaluru, Oct 13: An educational tour to Singapore and Malaysia was organized by Lourdes Central School in collaboration with TKi Tours for a group of 25 students, led by the principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira and the coordinator Deepa D’Souza. The tour aimed to provide students with an opportunity to explore the cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural beauty of these two vibrant countries.

The group was warmly guided by Alisha, the tour manager from TKI Tours, who took great care of the students and ensured everything ran perfectly according to schedule.

In Singapore, the students were accompanied by Derrick, the local tour guide, whose cheerful and friendly nature made the trip even more enjoyable. He shared interesting facts about the city’s history, culture, and development while keeping the group engaged and entertained. In Singapore, highlights included visits to Marina Bay Sands, Universal Studios and the national museum which offered valuable insights into the city-state’s transformation from a fishing village to a global hub . The students also enjoyed the spectacular Wings of Time show at the beach on Sentosa Island, a mesmerizing blend of lights, music, and water effects that made the evening unforgettable.

In Malaysia, Maria, the local guide, warmly welcomed the students and guided them through Kuala Lumpur’s famous landmarks and historical sites, enriching their understanding of Malaysia’s diverse heritage. The students explored Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Twin Towers, Batu Caves, and other historical landmarks that reflected the country’s multicultural influences.

Apart from gaining knowledge, the students were also mesmerized by the scenic beauty of both countries — from the sparkling city skylines to the lush green landscapes and beaches. The trip provided them with not only educational learning but also unforgettable experiences of teamwork, discipline, and cultural appreciation.

The tour concluded successfully, leaving every student enriched with knowledge, global exposure, and cherished memories under the guidance of Fr Johnson L Sequeira, Deepa D’Souza, and the dedicated support of TKI Tours.
