Chennai, Oct 9: Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's much-anticipated fantasy-action drama Vrusshabha will now roar into cinemas on November 6, 2025, the makers confirmed on Thursday, rescheduling it from its original October 16 release.

Announcing the new date on X, Mohanlal declared, “The ground shakes. The sky burns. Destiny has chosen its warrior. #Vrusshabha arrives on 6th November! #RoarOfVrusshabha.”

The film has been building buzz for months, particularly since the release of Mohanlal’s striking first-look poster earlier this year, which featured the actor as a formidable warrior king. Dressed in golden-brown armor with dragon-scale motifs, complete with long hair, a full beard, traditional ornaments, and a dramatic nose ring, Mohanlal's powerful look captivated fans. The poster, launched on his birthday, added to the hype, with the actor calling it “a tale that will ignite your soul and echo through time.”

Vrusshabha is written and directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms. The ambitious project, shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, will be released in five languages — Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada — expanding its reach across India.

Jointly produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, CK Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek S Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta, Vrusshabha promises a gripping blend of mythology, power, and drama — all anchored by one of Indian cinema’s most iconic performers.
