Masked gang loots doctor’s home, escapes with Rs 50 lac in cash and valuables

Panaji, Oct 7: In a daring late-night heist, a group of six to seven masked burglars broke into a doctor's bungalow in Ganesh Puri, overpowering the family and looting valuables worth over Rs 50 lac. The gang reportedly gained entry by breaking the window grills before storming the house, where they tied up the residents at knifepoint.

Once inside, the burglars ransacked the home, seizing cash, gold, and other valuables before making their escape in the family's own car. The brazen nature of the crime and the scale of the loot have sent shockwaves through the neighborhood.

Police have launched a full-scale investigation and are currently tracking the stolen vehicle, examining CCTV footage, and gathering forensic evidence in an effort to identify and apprehend the culprits.
