Kabirdham, Oct 6: Five people, including three women and a minor girl, were killed and five others injured, two critically, when an SUV collided with a truck on Sunday in Kabirdham district, Chhattisgarh, police reported.
The victims, originally from West Bengal, were returning to Bilaspur to catch a train to Kolkata after visiting Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, a senior police officer said.

The SUV, a Bolero carrying ten people including the driver, collided with the truck at around 4.30 pm near Akalgharia village, under the jurisdiction of Chilpi police station. Three women, a man, and a minor girl died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries.
Among the injured, two girls were admitted to the district hospital in Kawardha, and an injured man was taken to Bodla community health centre. Two critically injured individuals were shifted to a hospital in Raipur for further treatment, police added.
