Udupi, Oct 3: Silas International School celebrated its Founder’s Day with grandeur and heartfelt tributes on September 30, as Silas International School commemorated the birthday of its revered founder president, R S Maben, and the institution's founding anniversary. This momentous occasion was a testament to the indomitable spirit and visionary leadership that has been the hallmark of Silas.

The festivities began with a soul-stirring prayer song, melodiously rendered by the school choir, setting the tone for a day filled with devotion, gratitude, and celebration. Jacintha D'Costa, the principal, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, infusing the atmosphere with warmth and camaraderie.

The high school students' vibrant welcome dance was a kaleidoscope of colours and energy, leaving the audience spellbound. The academic director Deirdra Maben's inspiring words resonated deeply, urging students to embody the principles and values that Maben has instilled in the institution.

The teachers led the assembly in a heartfelt Praise and Worship session, seeking divine blessings for the Founder's well-being and the institution's continued prosperity.
