Mangaluru: Blood Donation camp held at St Aloysius University

Mangaluru, Oct 3: On the occasion of National Blood Donors Day and Gandhi Jayanthi, the NCC Wings and the Youth Red Cross Association of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre, District Wenlock Hospital, Mangaluru, organized a blood donation camp on September 30.

A total of 76 units of blood was collected from students, staff, and NCC cadets. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Sharath Kumar, head of the Department, Wenlock Blood Bank. pro-vice chancellor Dr Melwyn D'Cunha SJ, presided over the programme.

NCC and Youth Red Cross Association officers and volunteers actively coordinated the camp, ensuring its smooth and successful conduct.
