New Delhi, Oct 1: Oil marketing companies have increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 15.50, with the new rate for a 19 kg cylinder in Delhi now set at Rs 1,595.50. The cost of domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinders remains unchanged.
This revision, effective from October 1, follows the standard monthly price adjustment based on global LPG benchmarks and distribution costs. While the change applies nationwide, local prices may vary slightly depending on regional factors.
The price update was implemented by public sector fuel retailers—Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL)—who routinely revise rates of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) and LPG at the start of each month, guided by international trends and currency exchange fluctuations.

Meanwhile, petrol and diesel prices have remained static since March 2024, when a Rs 2 per litre cut was introduced ahead of the general elections. In Delhi, petrol currently retails at Rs 94.72 per litre and diesel at Rs 87.62.
