Karkala: One day Pravesh, Nipun training camp held at Govt PU College, Sanoor

Karlala, Sep 26: A one-day Pravesh and Nipun examination training camp was organized for Rovers and Rangers students on September 24 under the auspices of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Rovers, and Rangers Units of Government Pre-University College, Sanoor, Karkala.

The training camp was inaugurated by Vithesh Kanchan, assistant district commissioner (Scouts), Udupi. He stated that the Rovers and Rangers unit is a magnificent platform for students with an interest in learning. He emphasized that Scouting is helpful in inculcating discipline, punctuality, and life values. He provided complete training to the Rover and Ranger students for the one-day Pravesh and Nipun examination preparation.

The programme was presided over by the principal of the institution, Suchetha. Aravinda K N, the Rover Scout leader, welcomed the gathering.

Smitha Joshua Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks, and Saanvi, second year science student, was the master of ceremony for the programme.

75 Rovers and Rangers students benefited from the camp.
