Dr Sandhya Shenoy of Srinivas University named among world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford

Mangaluru, Sep 23: Dr Sandhya Shenoy U, professor and principal research scientist from department of materials science and engineering of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University, Mukka has made it to the list of top 2 % scientists in the 'Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators', published by Stanford University on September 19.

The ranking is based on the composite score which focuses on the impact of the research work and is calculated using all Scopus Author Profiles as of August 1.

Dr Shenoy has made it to the list for the third consecutive year. Her work mainly focusses on conversion of waste heat into electricity by developing efficient thermoelectric materials.

These achievements have been highly appreciated by chancellor Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, pro-chancellor Dr A Srinivas Rao, Srinivas University.
