Chennai, Sep 22: Geetha Radha, the mother of popular actress Radhika Sarathkumar and the third wife of legendary actor M.R. Radha, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 86 due to age-related health issues. The news was shared by Radhika, leaving fans and the film fraternity in deep sorrow.

In a heartfelt statement, Radhika said, "My beloved mother Geetha Radha passed away this evening. Her mortal remains have been kept at her residence at No. 3, Binny Road, Manasarava Apartment, Poes Garden, Chennai – 86 for the public, relatives, and friends to pay their last respects. The last rites will be performed on September 22 at 4.30 pm at the Besantnagar crematorium."

Geetha Radha led a life focused on her family, raising her daughters Radhika and Nirosha, both of whom went on to carve successful careers in the film industry. Known for maintaining a low profile in public, she was loved for her dedication, love, and guidance to her children.
