Yenepoya College marks 10th National Ayurveda Day with award ceremony

Mangaluru, Sep 22: On the occasion of 10th National Ayurveda day, Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Naringana, a constituent Unit of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) will be conducting health talks and camps for the public and also various competitions, for the students and interns of YAMCH for showcasing their skills and talents in Ayurveda.

Dr Jayagovinda Ukkinadka, MD Ayu, Saharaksha Vaidyashala, Ukkinadka will deliver a guest lecture on the topic- 'Ayurveda clinical practice-success stories' for the students of YAMCH.

District Ayush officer Dr Mohammed Iqbal will be felicitated this year with Yen Ayu Vaidyaratna Award for his untired service and dedication to the mankind and Indian system of medicine. This programme will be held at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, in the presence of Dr BH Sripathi Rao, pro-vice chancellor Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) as the chief guest. Dr Sunitha Saldanha, dean Yenepoya Allied Health Sciences, Mudipu as the guest of honour, Dr Gururaja H, principal with faculty and students of Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical college and Hospital, Naringana, Mangaluru.
