Mangaluru, Sep 20: SJEC men’s and women’s table tennis teams participated in the VTU Mangaluru Division Table Tennis Tournament organised by SIT, Valachil on September 15 and emerged as winners in the table tennis tournament.

The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Physical Education Director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.

The winning squads featured talented players from UG programmes:

Men’s team: Ashwin M V (7th Sem CSE), Aden Ryan D’Souza (7th Sem CSDS) Sanman Shashidhar Malpe (7th Sem ECE), Rian Angelo Arouza (5th Sem CSE) and Vian Thomas Mascarenhas (3rd Sem CSE).

Women’s team: Sonal Saldanha (7th Sem CSE), Alphia Frenita Fernandes (7th Sem CSDS), Ashika M R (7th Sem EEE) and Ananya (5th Sem AIML).

The management of SJEC congratulates both the teams and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
