Mumbai, Sept 15: Tensions flared inside the Bigg Boss 19 house as captain Amaal Mallik lost his cool for the first time this season — and the trigger was veteran actress and fellow contestant Kunickaa Sadanand.

Despite stepping down from kitchen duties earlier, 62-year-old Kunickaa was seen repeatedly lingering in the kitchen area and interfering with ongoing food preparations. Her presence reportedly caused confusion among the designated kitchen team, prompting Amaal, the current house captain, to ask her multiple times to step away from the area.

However, Kunickaa continued to assert herself in kitchen matters, disregarding Amaal’s requests — ultimately leading to a heated exchange. A visibly frustrated Amaal was seen lashing out in a strongly worded captain’s letter, accusing Kunickaa of being “rigid” and deliberately disrupting the kitchen workflow.

When confronted, Kunickaa refused to acknowledge the issue and instead picked a direct fight with Amaal. The situation escalated when Amaal firmly told her:

“Just because I respect you doesn’t mean you can take advantage of me.”

“Respect doesn’t mean behaving like a servant and doing whatever someone says.”

Last week, Amaal also stood by contestant Tanya Mittal after Kunickaa reportedly made several personal and inappropriate comments towards her. Amaal publicly questioned the silence of fellow housemates and accused them of being "fence-sitters" for not calling out Kunickaa’s behavior.
