Mangaluru: Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies holds Mad Ad competition

Mangaluru, Sep 15: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University hosted a vibrant Mad Ad competition on September 12 for BBA aviation management, aviation and logistics management, and aviation travel and tourism management. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies and Anjana T V, head of the department, with the support of the faculty members.

The primary objective of the competition was to provide students with an opportunity to sharpen their marketing skills, creativity, critical thinking, and analytical abilities by encouraging them to conceptualize and present innovative advertisement ideas. The contest served as a platform for students to combine fun with learning, allowing them to explore unconventional approaches to branding, promotion, and communication.

A total of 14 enthusiastic teams participated in the event, each bringing unique perspectives and fresh ideas to the stage. The atmosphere was charged with vibrant energy, enthusiasm, and healthy competition, reflecting the students’ passion and commitment.

Shravan D Suvarna and team from II BBA aviation management secured the first place, while the runner-up position was won by Iranius P S and team from I BBA aviation and logistics management. The competition ended on a successful note, making a lasting impression on both participants and the audience. It showcased the students’ creativity and innovative thinking while emphasizing the value of experiential learning in professional education.
