Mangaluru: Regional Conference-2025 held at Athena College of Nursing

Mangaluru, Sep 12: Athena College of Nursing successfully hosted a regional conference on "Empower to Excel: Nursing Skills in the Digital Era" on September 11.

The conference aimed to enhance nursing competencies through digital tools, preparing professionals for the evolving healthcare landscape.

Key sessions included "Skill Development in Clinical Nursing" by Prof Sandra J Saldanha, "Digital Tools in Community Health Nursing Practice" by Prof Nikcy N M, "AI Tools in Nursing Education and Administration" by Dr Jason Elroy Martis, “Empowering Nursing Research with Digital Tools" by Dr Sneha Nayak. Around 12 nursing colleges attended the conference with a total of 337 participants who were fortunate to upgrade their knowledge in digital nursing.

The organizing committee included Honey Gundami, staff organizing chairperson and Viola Felicita D'Souza, staff organizing secretary and student organizes.

The organizing committee has extended heartfelt thanks to chairman R S Shettian for providing the opportunity to host this conference, making it a grand success.
