In a video shared on Instagram, Shilpa is seen performing Ashwasanchalasana, also known as the Equestrian or Low Lunge Pose, highlighting the significance of hip-opening stretches. Captioned “On the mat, in the moment”, her post reflects her mindful approach to health and exercise.
The actress demonstrated the posture on both sides, explaining that it deeply stretches the hips, thighs, hamstrings, and groin, easing tension accumulated due to prolonged sitting or strenuous activity. She further noted that such movements enhance lower-body flexibility, improve balance and stability, and promote joint health.
