Karkala: Christ King student qualifies for state-level karate tournament

Karkala, Aug 21: Sudeekasha student of Christ King English Medium High School, Karkala, has been selected for the state-level karate tournament.

Sudeeksha of grade 8 earned the spot after winning gold medal in the Udupi district-level karate tournament under age group 14–17 girls’ category, held at St Francis Xavier English Medium School, Udyavar under the school education department, government of Karnataka, zilla panchayat Udupi, and the Udupi district administration.

Other achievers from the school included Sharvi of grade 7 and Advith of grade 8 claimed the second position.
