Kundapur, Aug 16: Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp at IMJ Institutions Moodlakatte. The chief guest was Rotarian Raghavendra Charan Navada, renowned lawyer from Kundapur.
The guests who hoisted the flag remembered the freedom fighters and called upon the students to make good use of their fundamental rights and become good citizens.
Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, brand building director of the college, extended his greetings on the occasion of Independence Day. All the principals, vice principals, heads of departments, staff and students of IMJ Institutions, children and staff of Vidya Academy were present in the programme.
Sweets were distributed for the children on the occasion.
