Mangaluru, Aug 12: Srinivas University, through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Cybersecurity and Cyber Forensic and the Department of Master of Computer Applications, organized an intensive one-day hands-on training programme on cybersecurity tools and techniques on July 22. The event was held at the COE Lab, located within the SUIET campus at Mukka. The programme commenced and concluded, offering participants a full-day immersive experience into real-world cybersecurity practices.
The session was graced by Yadhu Krishna, the founder and CEO of TRACELAY, who served as the chief guest and lead resource person for the training. His vast industry experience brought valuable insights into cutting-edge developments in the field of cybersecurity. The training covered a range of advanced, industry-relevant topics, aimed at equipping students with practical exposure and an in-depth understanding of emerging cyber threats and defense mechanisms.




The programme saw enthusiastic participation from 15 postgraduate students of MSc Digital and Cyber Forensic Science (4th semester) from IAHS, Srinivas University. The students gained practical, hands-on experience using a variety of industry tools and real-time scenarios, significantly enriching their learning experience and understanding of the dynamic cybersecurity landscape. This initiative reflects Srinivas University’s ongoing commitment to providing students with exposure to industry-standard technologies and practices, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity and digital forensics.
