Cardiologist raises concerns on Covid-19 vaccines & heart risks

Mumbai, Aug 10: The relationship between Covid-19 vaccines and heart attacks remains a subject of debate. While multiple studies have found no definitive link between Covid-19 vaccination and increased heart attack risk, Dr Alok Chopra, cardiologist and co-founder of Aashlok Hospital, recently expressed concerns about potential associations.

In an August 6 Instagram video interview for Impact Stories titled ‘Why Covid vaccines are awful,’ Dr. Chopra questioned the rapid development timeline of Covid vaccines, highlighting that vaccines traditionally take years to develop. He suggested that the accelerated process might have led to the inclusion of harmful substances, which, in his opinion, could contribute to adverse health effects.

Dr. Chopra also referred to industry discussions he witnessed, implying there may be undisclosed issues related to vaccine safety.

Medical experts stress that Covid-19 vaccines have undergone rigorous testing and monitoring globally, with benefits outweighing risks. Health authorities continue to recommend vaccination as a key tool in controlling the pandemic.
