New York, Jul 31: Get ready for a paw-some adventure as DogMan, the much-awaited American animated action comedy based on Dav Pilkey’s best-selling books, is all set to premiere on Jio Hotstar from August 11.
Directed by Peter Hastings, the film brings to life the hilarious tale of a half-dog, half-human hero created after a police officer and his K-9 partner are fused in a freak accident. Despite his dog instincts often getting in the way, DogMan is determined to fight crime and protect the city.
The film also features the clever villain Petey the Cat and the touching bond that grows between DogMan and Li’l Petey, a clone of his arch-enemy. The story beautifully blends comedy, action, and a message about the power of kindness.
