Mangaluru, Jul 27: The Graduation Day ceremony for the 2024–25 batch was held on July 26 at Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management (YIASCM), Kulur.
Dr Anil Rana, director of Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal, graced the occasion as chief guest. In his address, he emphasized that Graduation Day is not an end, but the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning. He urged graduates to embrace challenges, think beyond technology, and lead with bold ideas, humility, and curiosity in an ever-evolving tech-driven world.







Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), presided over the event. He highlighted that this milestone marks a new beginning and encouraged students to continue learning, stay grounded, and never forget their roots. He remarked, “The journey doesn’t stop here. Reach for the sky, keep learning, and always remember where you came from.”
The stage was graced by vice principal Dr Prabhakara B K, Yenepoya Abdullah Javeed, director of operations, Yenepoya Group, Mohammed Shahid, campus administrator, and heads of various engineering departments.
Vice principal Dr Prabhakara B K administered the graduation oath.
On this occasion, Roshan S Shettigar (mechanical engineering) was felicitated for securing the 7th rank in the VTU examinations, and Vimarsha Devadiga (computer science and engineering) was awarded Best Outgoing Student.
Dr Prabhakara B K welcomed the gathering. Dr Nagaraj P, head of the Department of Engineering Chemistry, introduced the chief guest. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof Vani R, assistant professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The ceremony was attended by faculty, graduates, and proud parents.
