Seven students of Christking Educational Institutions selected for district level karate competition

Karkala, Jul 22: In the recently held taluk-level karate tournament organized under the aegis of the department of school education and literacy and the office of the Block Education Officer, Karkala, students from Christking English Medium Primary and High School, Karkala, delivered an outstanding performance. The event was hosted at the Government Pre-University College, Bailur.

A total of seven students from Christking secured first place and earned selection for the upcoming Udupi district-level karate tournament. From the high school division, Ayushree M Acharya and Sanvi M Nayak of class 9, along with Sudhiksha, Advith D V, and Nagesh Bhat of class 8, emerged victorious. In the primary school division, Akshay Prabhu and Sharvi Balakrishna Poojary of class 7 also secured first place finishes.

Additionally, Lakshanya P R and Shagun S Verma of class 9, as well as Abdul Azeez Safwan and Daniel T K of class 10, clinched second place in the competition.
