Mumbai, Jul 16: Bollywood couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have been blessed with a baby girl, marking a joyful new chapter in their lives. This is the couple’s first child together.
The actress gave birth at HN Reliance Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai. Though the baby was originally due in August, she arrived a few weeks early. Both mother and baby are reported to be healthy, sources said.
Sidharth and Kiara had announced their pregnancy on February 28 this year via an Instagram post that read, “The greatest gift of our lives coming soon,” along with an image of their hands cradling baby socks.
The couple had largely kept a low profile since the announcement. Just last week, they were spotted at a Mumbai clinic, shielding themselves from the paparazzi. Kiara’s parents, Genevieve and Jagdeep Advani, along with Sidharth’s mother Rimma Malhotra, were also present.
Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot on February 7, 2023, at the majestic Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan. Their romance began during the filming of Shershaah, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021.
On Koffee With Karan Season 8, Kiara revealed that Sidharth proposed to her in Rome in a heartwarming moment where he recited dialogues from Shershaah, leaving her both emotional and amused.
Together for four years and now proud parents, the duo described their newborn daughter as “the greatest gift of their lives.”
