Rumours of the duo dating have swirled since January 2023, especially after their speculated Maldives vacation. Rashmika was also spotted watching Pushpa 2 with Vijay's family, adding to the speculation. Despite being frequently seen together, the stars have neither confirmed nor denied their relationship. They previously starred together in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, where their chemistry was widely appreciated.

Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is produced by Sai Soujanya and Naga Vamsi S under Fortune 4 Cinemas and Sithara Entertainment. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T John handle the cinematography.

The teaser has already set high expectations, and fans are eagerly waiting for what promises to be an intense and gripping film with Vijay in a never-seen-before avatar.
