Mumbai, Jul 7: Actor Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated action drama Kingdom is finally set to hit theatres worldwide on July 31, after multiple delays. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film promises an intense blend of action and emotion, with Deverakonda in a rugged avatar.
The makers unveiled a gripping announcement video showcasing Deverakonda first in a police uniform, later morphing into a relentless force of justice. The promo teases a gritty tale of vengeance and leadership, backed by high-octane stunts choreographed by Yannick Ben, Chethan D’Souza, and Real Satish.
Sharing the clip on Instagram, Vijay wrote:
“#KINGDOM July 31st. Worldwide. Let our Destinies unfold. A @gowtam19 story that unfolds like a novel to @anirudhofficial’s genius score.”
Production house Sitara Entertainments added:
“One man. A heart full of fury. A world that pushed too far. Now it’s CARNAGE time.”
Originally scheduled for May 30, Kingdom was first pushed to July 4, and later to July 31, with the delay attributed to heightened India-Pakistan tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor.
Alongside Deverakonda, the film stars Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev in pivotal roles. Produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas banners, the movie features music by Anirudh Ravichander and editing by Navin Nooli.
The technical team also includes Neeraja Kona as costume designer and Vijay Binni as choreographer. The film is presented by Srikara Studios.
