Mumbai, Jul 6: Actor R Madhavan has lauded Priyanka Chopra Jonas for her stellar performance in Heads of State, which recently became the most trending film worldwide on Prime Video.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Madhavan shared the film’s poster featuring the caption “#1 on Prime Video worldwide” and praised Chopra Jonas for her achievement. “So proud of you for breaking new grounds and doing all that we dream of. What a wonderful job in the film and you held your own so well. Your victory feels personal @priyankachopra,” he wrote.

Responding to the compliment, Priyanka shared Madhavan’s post on her Instagram story and wrote, “Thank you my friend. Really appreciate your words of encouragement.”

Heads of State, directed by Ilya Naishuller of Nobody fame, was released on July 2 and stars Priyanka Chopra alongside Hollywood heavyweights John Cena and Idris Elba. In the action-comedy, Elba plays UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke and Cena stars as US President Will Derringer. Chopra portrays Noel Bisset, a sharp MI6 agent caught in a high-stakes mission.
