Bantwal, Jun 13: Loreto English Medium High School observed World Day against Child Labour with a special programme organized and presented by the students of grade 6, which included a role play, a skit, and a dance performance accompanied by impactful slogans. The performances reflected the theme of the day and highlighted the need to eradicate child labour.
The event was graced by the school principal, Jason Vijay Monis, who addressed the gathering and said, you are all blessed children your parents make immense sacrifices and work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful life and a quality education. It is your foremost responsibility to honor that by studying well, gaining knowledge, and becoming an inspiration for others.

He also reminded them of the millions of children worldwide who are forced to give up their education simply to earn for their survival.
He appreciated the efforts of the teachers for guiding the students and commended the students for confidently presenting the programme.
The event was compered by Chinthana from grade 6. The welcome address was delivered by Melisha, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Lisha.
The programme served as a reminder to all students of the value of education and their duty to make the most of the opportunities they have.
