Mangaluru, Jun 12: A new chapter of joyful learning unfolded for the nursery and kindergarten students of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru on June 10 with the inauguration of the newly developed Indoor Play Area and Little Learners Environmental Space.
The chief guest for the occasion, madam Prasamsha Bhandary, a wildlife biologist and environmentalist, was given a delightful welcome by the little ones, who danced merrily as they escorted her to the venue in their play auto-rickshaws and bicycles, accompanied by the principal Sr Melissa, the administrator Sr Carissima, and the head teacher Sr Reshma.
Tr Sandra Lobo extended a cordial welcome to the gathering and invited the dignitaries to officially inaugurate the two innovative zones designed to enhance experiential learning. The little ones greeted the guests with cheerful smiles and an energetic action song, adding charm and innocence to the event.


























Students Sohansh, Rihanvi and Shivansh confidently introduced the “Little Learners Environmental Space”, while Nilin and Kaushik spoke about the features and benefits of the “Indoor Play Area”, reflecting their curiosity and enthusiasm.
In her address, madam Prasamsha Bhandary commended the school management for creating such thoughtful and engaging learning environments for young minds. She encouraged the children to remain grateful, show kindness to animals, and develop a deep love for nature.
Principal Sr Melissa, beaming with joy, expressed her happiness and encouraged the children to embrace learning through play. She also appreciated the efforts of both the students and teachers in making the event meaningful and memorable.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Athiya, Sohan, Joanne, Amaira and Dhwani, who spoke with endearing confidence.
The inaugural ceremony concluded on a heartwarming note, with smiles of wonder and excitement lighting up the faces of the nursery and kindergarten kids, marking the beginning of many joyful learning experiences to come.
