Mangaluru, Jun 11: A case has been registered against former MLA Moideen Bava for allegedly obstructing a government official in the discharge of duty at the NMPA (New Mangalore Port Authority) office in Panambur.

According to a press release issued by Mangaluru City Police on June 11, the incident occurred on the night of June 9 at around 8:00 PM, when former MLA Moideen Bava, along with two of his associates, reportedly entered the office of the deputy chairperson of NMPA. The trio allegedly disrupted the official's duties for about 15 minutes, preventing the officer from leaving the office and obstructing their work in connection with the approval of a project bill.
