Los Angeles, May 30: Popular American drama The Morning Show, fronted by Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, is gearing up for its much-anticipated return with Season 4 on September 14.

Apple TV made the official announcement on Instagram, along with a sneak peek through first-look images that offer a glimpse of the new and returning cast. The new season will begin nearly two years after the events of Season 3, introducing a fresh storyline with a time leap.

Joining the powerful cast are international stars Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, and Boyd Holbrook. Familiar faces returning include Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm.

In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Charlotte Stoudt revealed that although the Season 3 finale left the central characters Alex Levy (Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) on separate paths, Season 4 will see them reconnect.

“People appreciated that they were together but not together. That’s the contradiction,” said Stoudt, adding, “Even when you have to be accountable for something, life can go on.”

The Emmy-winning series, which began with a scandal involving co-anchor Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell), has evolved through themes of power, truth, and media ethics. From navigating a pandemic to tackling identity crises and media rivalries, The Morning Show continues to reflect the complexities of modern journalism.

With a massive global following and a powerful lead duo, The Morning Show is all set to keep audiences hooked once again this September.
