Mumbai, May 22: Marathi and Hindi television star Neha Pendse, known for her versatile roles on the small screen, has made a stunning debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, adding a new milestone to her illustrious career. The actress, who captivated audiences with performances in 'May I Come In Madam?' and 'Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai', described the experience as nothing short of magical.

“In all honesty, the Cannes red carpet expects personality with fashion. The key is not to lose oneself in the sea of fashion,” Neha shared, reflecting on the grandeur of the global cinematic celebration.

Calling her presence at Cannes a "dream come true", Neha said, “It’s a plethora of the best of cinema and fashion coming together. It’s overwhelming.”

Taking immense pride in representing Indian talent on an international stage, she remarked, “Absolutely proud that I play my small part in the big story. Every nook and corner of the entire Cannes screams fashion.”

Neha Pendse began her career as a child artist in the 1995 horror show Captain House, stepping into the industry at just ten years old. Over the years, she carved a niche for herself through memorable roles in shows like Padosan and Hasratein.

She entered the world of cinema in 1999, appearing in Daag: The Fire and later portraying Sunny Deol’s sister in Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin.

Pendse gained widespread recognition in Marathi cinema in the late 2000s with impactful roles in Agnividya and the soap Bhagyalakshmi, later starring in films like Dusari Goshta, Premasathi Coming Suun, Balkadu, and Natsamrat.

Her breakthrough in Hindi TV came with May I Come In Madam? (2016), and her popularity soared with appearances in Bigg Boss 12 and Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! — where she replaced Saumya Tandon.

After a brief hiatus, Neha returned to the screen in 2023, reprising her iconic role in May I Come In Madam? Season 2.

In 2020, she tied the knot with businessman Shardul Singh Bayas, continuing to balance her personal and professional life with grace.
