Mumbai, May 19: Actress and fitness icon Shilpa Shetty is back with another vibrant take on fitness, encouraging her followers to keep their workouts fun and energetic. In a recent Instagram post, she shared a high-energy cardio session featuring jumping jacks, standing ab crunches, and a dose of Zumba.

“The road to fitness doesn’t have to be monotonous,” she captioned the video. “Who said burning calories can’t be fun? Fun Cardio – My Way.” Shilpa emphasized the dual benefits of her routine: burning calories and conditioning the heart and lungs.

A regular on social media for sharing workout tips and fitness routines, Shilpa continues to inspire with her creative and accessible approach to health. Just last month, she posted a core-strengthening workout video with her trainer, where she combined sit-ups with motivational banter.

“Abs OR Jabs!” she wrote in April, detailing the workout’s benefits, including improved posture, balance, internal organ support, and better athletic performance. She cheekily added, “My coach trying to challenge my powerhouse core is secretly torching her own too… talk about multitasking!”

Shilpa highlighted the key muscle groups worked: rectus abdominis, obliques, pelvic floor muscles, and diaphragm. Her interactive post ended with a call-to-action for her fans: “Challenge thrown to you, hit the floor and show me how many sit-ups you’ve got in you!”

On the professional front, Shilpa was last seen in Indian Police Force, a series co-directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash. Her 2000 blockbuster Dhadkan is set for a theatrical re-release on May 23. The film, a romantic drama loosely inspired by Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, features a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Mahima Chaudhry.

Looking ahead, Shilpa will be seen in the upcoming Kannada action drama KD – The Devil, directed by Prem. The ensemble cast includes Dhruva Sarja, Reeshma Nanaiah, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Nora Fatehi, and Sanjay Dutt.

Whether it’s on-screen or in the gym, Shilpa continues to set benchmarks for wellness, balance, and embracing fitness with joy.
