Kundapur: Foundation stone laid for new block of Vidya Academy

Kundapur, May 12: Vidya Academy reached a new milestone in its journey of educational excellence as the foundation stone for a new block was laid on April 30.

The ceremony was led by the chairman of IMJ Institutions, Sidhartha J Shetty, and his wife, Anisha Rai, who performed the honours with deep pride and commitment to the institution’s vision.

Trustees of the MNBS Trust Vidya J Shetty and Ram Rathan Shetty were present at the event, accompanied by all family members, teaching and non-teaching staff of both Vidya Academy and IMJ Institutions. Their presence reflected the shared values and strong community support that form the backbone of the Academy.

The new block, which is set to open for students by the next academic year (2026), will provide enhanced infrastructure to support the school’s growing academic and co-curricular activities a step forward in nurturing young learners in a vibrant and future-ready environment.
