New Delhi, May 10: Honda has rolled out the 2025 CBR650R E-Clutch variant in the Indian market, priced at Rs 10.40 lac (ex-showroom). The highlight of the new model is the advanced Honda E-Clutch technology, designed to enhance rider comfort, especially in congested urban conditions.
The E-Clutch system features servo motors integrated into a redesigned casing that manage gear shifts and clutch engagement automatically when the motorcycle comes to a halt. This reduces fatigue for riders during stop-and-go traffic. For enthusiasts who prefer traditional control, the system can be manually switched off.
Sporting a sharper and more aggressive design, the 2025 CBR650R gets twin LED headlights, sleeker side panels, and a subtly upswept tail section. It continues to be available in two attractive colour options Grand Prix Red and Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic.
At the heart of the CBR650R is a 649cc inline four-cylinder engine, delivering 94bhp and 63Nm of torque. The engine stands out in its class for its smooth, linear power delivery and unique four-cylinder configuration.
The motorcycle uses a steel frame coupled with Showa SFF-BP USD forks up front and an adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by dual 310mm discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Competing directly with the Triumph Daytona 660, the Honda CBR650R E-Clutch is now available for booking through Honda BigWing dealerships and online via the official Honda BigWing India website. Deliveries are set to begin in the last week of May 2025.
